Build with Gemini Hackathon is an individual innovation challenge focused on empowering students to build real-world applications using Google’s Gemini AI. This hackathon provides participants with hands-on experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and modern AI development tools.
Participants will independently design and develop AI-powered solutions that solve meaningful problems across domains such as productivity, education, sustainability, accessibility, healthcare, and automation. The goal is to encourage innovation, practical learning, and exploration of Gemini’s capabilities in building intelligent applications.
This hackathon is open to all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner learning AI or an experienced developer, this is an opportunity to experiment, learn, and showcase your creativity by building impactful solutions powered by Gemini.

Requirements
Build an original AI-powered application using Google’s Gemini AI. Your project should demonstrate how Gemini can be used to solve a real-world problem or improve an existing process.
You may build projects in any domain, including but not limited to:

Your project must be built individually during the hackathon and should clearly use Gemini AI in its core functionality.
What to SubmitEach participant must submit the following on Devpost:

Clearly explain your project, the problem it solves, and how Gemini is used. -
Demo Video (Required)
A short video (2–5 minutes) demonstrating your project and its features. -
Source Code (Required)
A link to your GitHub repository or source code. -

MLH Swag Rewards
Awarded to the top 2 projects demonstrating outstanding innovation, effective use of Google Gemini AI, and strong technical implementation. Winners will receive exclusive MLH swags, including official MLH merchandise such as stickers, goodies, and other swag items, along with certificates of achievement and recognition for their performance in the hackathon.
